As Seen on PBS: Mentoring & Rites of Passage

The national series, America at a Crossroads, explores how communities across the country are responding to division, change, and the deep human need to belong. Our segment shines a light on how mentorship, emotional literacy, and rites of passage are helping boys in North Carolina grow into grounded, emotionally intelligent young men. We are one of many organizations across the country doing this important group mentoring and rites of passage work with teenage boys. If you want to start a similar program in your region please contact us!

Help Us Sponsor 2 School Programs & Train 100 Mentors

To build on this national spotlight, we’re launching a campaign to sponsor two school-based mentoring programs and to train 100 mentors!

📍 Your support will directly fund:

  • Weekly mentorship circles for youth in under-resourced schools
  • Intensive mentor training grounded in emotional intelligence, active listening, and community leadership
  • Nature-based rites of passage experiences that anchor young men in purpose and belonging

💙 June is Men’s Mental Health Month—a time to invest in upstream, community-rooted solutions that help boys thrive and men show up with strength and heart.

🎁 Thanks to a generous supporter, your gift will be matched up to $5,000.

➡️ Donate today to strengthen the circle—one school, one mentor, one boy at a time.

Journeymen Triangle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in North Carolina, mentoring teenage boys since 2009. We’ve served hundreds of youth across NC through community-based programs that foster integrity, connection, and emotional maturity. EIN: 45-3116233
