June 15: Mentor & Parent Training - Circle of Security

Each month, we host a mentor training and equipping session. This month, we are bringing in SAFEchild NC for a training called Circle of Security. This training is going to be opened to parents and mentors and interested community members.

The program is based on attachment-theory and provides tools to help parents and mentors better navigate through crisis moments with their children/mentees. As parents and mentors, we create a safe and brave spaces for our young ones to share how they are *really* doing, to be vulnerable and fully communicative. This training will help us build a stronger sense of security and confidence in our young men both at home and in our ongoing mentoring programs.

The training will be held in Cary, NC from 6:30 - 8:30pm on Thursday June 15th
