Board of Directors and Executive Leadership

Journeymen is able to accomplish so much in the lives of the young people we work with due to the vision, leadership, and contributions of the folks below. In addition to the directors and board leadership, we have a rich community of journeymen champions who make this work possible. We are so grateful for these mentors, parents, volunteers, partners, businesses, and individuals.

Jordan Bowman

Executive Director

At 14 years old, Jordan attended a Rites of Passage experience that changed the trajectory of his life. Wanting every young person to experience this type of community and support, he and his dad, Jeff Bowman, started Journeymen Triangle. After years of training as a mentor, board member, and obtaining a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from NC State he took the role of ED in 2019.

Currently Residing in Garner, NC - Jordan seeks to provide community support circles around the Triangle and throughout the state and region. When he is not engaged in Journeymen, he is busy with other projects focused on social entrepreneurship, education, and community building.

Jake Humphrey

Program Director

Jake Humphrey, from Raleigh, NC, has been involved with Journeymen Triangle for over ten years. He participated in Journeymen's Rites of Passage Adventure Weekend in 2011 and has stayed involved with the community ever since. He's also currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at NCSU. Focused on creating opportunities for people to step into growth within a community, he loves the work he does and is committed to serving the young men of today and tomorrow.

Jake's also an avid lover of a good laugh, his shiny red Miata, all types of music, and his weekly 3 hour walk around Raleigh."

John Craichy

John Craichy, MBA, MSW, LCSWA is a management consultant, personal coach, and family therapist. After years of volunteer work with men and adolescents, John pursued training and licensing in clinical social work with an emphasis on change models and substance use disorders.
